He completed his medical and ophthalmology studies in Malaga, starting his residency training (via MIR) at the Hospital Clínico Universitario de Málaga. After defending his Doctoral Thesis, he earned his PhD (Doctorate) with Cum Laude honors. With 25 years of experience, he alternated his professional practice at the Hospital Costa del Sol with his private practice for 10 years.
Dr. Fernández
Ophthalmologist and expert in anterior segment surgery, with a special focus on cataract surgery, presbyopia, and premium intraocular lens implantation. He earned his medical degree from the University of Valladolid and completed his residency training (MIR) in Ophthalmology at the Hospital Universitario Virgen de la Victoria in Malaga.
Dra. Delgado
Her background includes training in surgical retina at the Institute of Ocular Microsurgery (IMO), research activity with an "outstanding" (sobresaliente) grade, and a Master's degree in Ocular Pharmacology. He has spent a large part of her career at the Hospital Universitario Virgen de las Nieves and within the HLA national hospital network, and is an expert in complex cataract surgery, retina, glaucoma, and refractive surgery.
